Linings for rotary kilns, preheaters, coolers and lime

Cement plants live and die by kiln availability. The refractory grade in each kiln zone, the preheater cyclones, the cooler grate and the burner pipe sets your campaign length, your refractory consumption per tonne of clinker and the carbon footprint of your lining replacement. We supply the chemistry that fits your raw mix, your fuel and your kiln length.

Equipment we line in Cement & Lime

For each piece of equipment below, we list the wear pattern we engineer against and the product families we typically supply. Click any product pill to see grades, specifications and FAQ for that family.

Kiln Burning Zone

Wear pattern: Coating cycling, alkali infiltration, sulfate attack from raw mix

What we supply: Chrome-free magnesia-spinel bricks, magnesia-zirconia bricks (long-campaign plants), basic monolithic patching mass

Kiln Transition & Calcining Zone

Wear pattern: Thermal cycling, alkali attack, abrasion from clinker dust

What we supply: 70-80% high-alumina bricks (Sillimanite/Bauxite-based), low-cement castable for inlet/outlet cones

Preheater Cyclones & Risers

Wear pattern: Build-up from sticky meal, abrasion from raw-meal dust, alkali attack

What we supply: Low-cement self-flowing castable (CA cement, alkali-resistant), gunning castable for hot-zone repairs, silicon-carbide-bonded bricks for severe build-up areas

Cooler Grate & Hot-End Bullnose

Wear pattern: Clinker-impact abrasion, thermal shock, snow-man build-up

What we supply: Alumina-SiC-C castable, no-cement abrasion-resistant castable, PCPF nose-ring shapes

Burner Pipe (Kiln + Calciner)

Wear pattern: Flame-impingement thermal shock, coal-ash slag attack

What we supply: PCPF burner-pipe castable shells, low-cement castable + steel-fibre, 80% alumina shapes for tip

Tertiary Air Duct & Kiln Hood

Wear pattern: Hot-gas erosion, abrasion from cooler-vent particulate

What we supply: Low-cement abrasion castable, ceramic-fibre back-up insulation, 60% alumina monolithic shotcrete

Lime Shaft / PFR Kiln

Wear pattern: Limestone abrasion at charge zone, calcination thermal cycling, hot-zone slag attack

What we supply: 70% high-alumina bricks for burning zone, dense fireclay for shaft, abrasion-resistant castable for charge throat

Supply & Despatch

Pune-belt cement plants (Solapur, Wadi/Yadgir cluster, Chandrapur) form a recurring portion of our delivery schedule. We can coordinate kiln-shutdown spec packages: working-lining bricks, transition-zone castable and cooler-zone monolithics in one consolidated despatch.

Cement & Lime questions, answered

Quick answers to the questions plant maintenance teams ask us most often.

Do you stock chrome-free magnesia-spinel?

Yes — chrome-free magnesia-spinel (with in-situ or pre-formed spinel matrix) is our default for kiln burning zones. Chrome-bearing magnesia-chrome is a cleanliness/regulatory liability and we steer customers off it unless there is a specific historic reason.

Can you supply ready-mixed self-flowing castable for preheater?

Yes. Self-flowing low-cement castables for preheater cyclones, risers and ducts are despatched in 25 kg bags or 1 t big-bags per your preference. Mixing instructions and water-demand range printed on the bag.

Do you offer kiln-shutdown supervision?

Yes. For repeat customers we supervise refractory installation during planned shutdowns — anchor inspection, mix consistency check, dry-out curve management, first-heat monitoring.

Is the kiln nose-ring available pre-cast pre-fired?

Yes. The kiln nose-ring is one of our standard PCPF shapes — pre-cast in segments, pre-fired at our Chakan plant, shipped ready to install. This skips the on-site dry-out and shortens kiln return-to-service.
