Refractories that line the entire steelmaking chain

From BOF converter slag-lines to ladle barrels, EAF hot-spots to reheating furnaces, induction furnace crucibles to foundry cupola — every hot zone in steelmaking has its own refractory chemistry, wear pattern and life expectation. We supply the right grade for each, with batch test certificates and optional install supervision.

Equipment we line in Steel & Foundry

For each piece of equipment below, we list the wear pattern we engineer against and the product families we typically supply. Click any product pill to see grades, specifications and FAQ for that family.

BOF (Basic Oxygen Furnace)

Wear pattern: Slag corrosion at slag-line, charge-pad impact wear, tap-pad thermal shock

What we supply: MC-10 to MC-18 (mag-carbon), magnesia bricks for safety lining, gunning mass for hot repairs

EAF (Electric Arc Furnace)

Wear pattern: Hot-spot panel erosion, bottom build-up, slag attack on banks

What we supply: MC-14/MC-18 hot-spot bricks, magnesia ramming mass for bottom, gunning mass for banks

Steel Ladle (Barrel + Slag-Line)

Wear pattern: Slag attack at slag-line, thermal cycling at barrel, metal penetration at bottom

What we supply: MC-5/MC-10 barrel bricks, MC-14 slag-line, alumina-spinel castable for bottom, well-block + porous plug PCPF shapes

Ladle Furnace / RH Degasser

Wear pattern: Vacuum erosion at snorkels, slag attack at side wall

What we supply: MgO-Cr-free spinel bricks, ULC mag-carbon for clean-steel grades, alumina-magnesia-carbon (AMC) bricks

Tundish

Wear pattern: Slag-line wear, working-lining erosion

What we supply: Basic spray mass (MgO-based), tundish boards, dam and weir blocks, monoblock stoppers

Reheating Furnaces (Walking Beam, Pusher)

Wear pattern: Scale build-up at hearth, abrasion at skid-pipe insulation, thermal shock at burner blocks

What we supply: 60-70% high-alumina bricks, low-cement castable for hearth, ceramic-fibre back-up insulation, PCPF burner blocks

Induction Furnace (Coreless)

Wear pattern: Sintered-lining erosion, thermal cycling, slag attack

What we supply: Silica ramming mass (acid lining), magnesia ramming mass (basic lining), spout and lid castables

Cupola / Foundry Ladle

Wear pattern: Coke-bed abrasion, slag attack at melting zone, thermal shock at ladle barrel

What we supply: 70% high-alumina bricks, fireclay safety lining, ladle castable, ladle gunning mass

Supply & Despatch

We are an active supplier to integrated steel and foundry plants across the Pune-Chakan-Aurangabad-Sangli belt, with onward dispatch to Karnataka, Gujarat and southern markets. Despatch from our Chakan plant is typically same-day to T+1 within Maharashtra; T+3 to T+5 pan-India.

Steel & Foundry questions, answered

Quick answers to the questions plant maintenance teams ask us most often.

Do you supply complete BOF or EAF lining packages?

Yes. We supply working-lining mag-carbon plus safety-lining mag and back-up insulation as a single coordinated package. We can also coordinate with your installation contractor for shape mixing and dry-out schedule.

Can you handle ULC grades for clean-steel (IF / CRNGO) ladles?

Yes. Ultra-low-carbon mag-carbon bricks (≤2% C) are stocked for ladle linings going into pickup-sensitive grades. We will recommend zone-by-zone carbon level based on your slag and grade-mix.

Do you supply tundish boards and porous plugs?

Yes — tundish working-lining boards, dam/weir blocks, monoblock stoppers, slide-gate plates and refractory-bonded porous plugs. Flow-control items are despatched matched to your tundish drawing.

Will you do a post-mortem on used linings?

Yes. Our technical team walks the lining at campaign end, photographs wear pattern, samples residual brick and feeds the analysis into the next-campaign spec. Service is included for established accounts.
